Sicka Than Average
Remember the "Best Friends Forever" necklaces and bracelets you shared with your besties during Junior High? How each of you would rock one half of a silver-toned heart pendant, with jagged edges right along the center area? Splitting a heart necklace or bracelet with somebody was the friendship version of a promise ring -- sure, you were maybe 8 or 9 years old but, back then, it felt like you were promising to uphold a life-long bond with your BFF by committing to regularly wear that piece of jewelry. Well, designer Ariel Gordon has created a collection of necklaces inspired by this nostalgic BFF ritual. Her "Close to My Heart" necklace, measuring 16" in length, features a 1/3" gold heart pendant with one covered with ten pavé diamonds. If you want a really sentimental gift for your mom, think about buying a pair of these necklaces — one for her to wear and one for you to loop around your neck. This way, she'll know just how close she is to your heart.
