There’s something about Boston Marathon weekend that just hits differently. The energy, the emotion, the sheer determination in the air - it’s contagious in the best way. A couple weekends ago, Ariel and Erica headed to Boston to bring a little extra creativity to the mix with a weekend-long activation at Birkenstock's Newbury and Chestnut Hill stores.
Runners, supporters, and spectators poured in from all over the world, and you could feel the anticipation building on every corner. Being part of such a historic and inspiring event set the tone for everything that followed. Every pair of Birkenstock Boston clogs told a different story - bold knots, intricate beadwork, playful color combos. No two were alike, and that’s exactly what made it so special. Watching everyone put their own spin on the kits was a reminder of why we love doing these activations in the first place: it’s not just about the product, it’s about the experience and the individuality behind it.
