What an honor it was to be asked to be one of the speakers at the annual Mamas Making it Summit last weekend in LA.
As a mama, it felt beyond refreshing to join together with women in a conversation that was honest, real, and uplifting about what it takes to make it and balance it all.
I chatted with Super Mamas' Co-Creator Bricia Lopez, while other speakers included Tiffani Thiessen, Ariel Kaye of Parachute, Mandana Dayani of I Am a Voter, Jamie Kantrowitz of Countertop Foods, Erica Domesek of PS I Made This, Jacey Duprie, Sara Foster, and Heidi Zak of ThirdLove. Serious bosses, all of them.
As I always say, the juggle is real, especially as I manage my two kiddos in the Bay and a business down in LA, and these mamas gave me the lift I needed to know that not only am I doing it, but I have the support I need, and the community around me, to keep doing what I'm doing.
